Explicit Movement Singapore: Parenting Workshop

Part I: Building a Closer Relationship with Your Adolescent

Parenting can be such a frustrating experience. Perhaps it seems like every time you want to talk to your child, they don’t want to talk to you. Or maybe when you finally have some time to rest, they want something from you. If you’re feeling tired or frustrated as a parent, or simply want to enjoy a better relationship with your child, then this seminar is for you. Learn how to engage your child in ways that build trust and prepare your child to be successful at school, in their future workplace, and in their relationships with others.

Part II: Helping Your Adolescent Develop a Healthy Understanding of Sex

Do you desire for your child to remain sexually pure, but feel lost or nervous at the thought of talking about sex with them? If so, you are not alone. The reality is that very few of us had parents who talked to us about sex, which means that most parents have no idea how to approach this subject with their children. And yet, time is running out – every day our children are exposed to sexually explicit messages and liberal attitudes towards sexuality in the media. Building on the skills learned in Part I, you will learn how to talk about sex with your child in a way that encourages them to see sex as God intended and to strive for purity in all areas of their lives.
